From Megan Kennedy Felker: Corri was one of my best friends in high school. She was such a kind & gentle person. I think about her a lot & smile whenever I watch "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" & know she is looking down from heaven & smiling & laughing with me.
Corri and I were part of the girls track and Cross Country team. I have great memories of when she and Tina Reed would pick me up in the morning and we would listen to The Smiths on cassette tape on the way to school and home from track practice. I remember early morning runs in the summers at 6am. All of the Track/Cross Country meets and road trips I will never forget. When I went away to college and she stayed in town for college we kept in touch by writing letters. I remember going to Light Up Orlando when I came home one weekend. Then when she went to University of North Florida and I was at Jacksonville University. We would hang out on weekends. We took a trip with some of her UNF friends to Savannah. We used to go to Jax beach, Anastasia, and St. Augustine. I have so many photos. We went to concerts and both were college DJs which I think is funny because we were shy in High School. Over the summer we used to go to concerts at the Mill, The Edge, Beach Club, Beacham Theater, and Visage. I have photos of Cocoa Beach (for Spring Break), Disney, MGM, and Wekiwa Springs. I remember going canoeing and getting lost. We made video tapes back when people used to do that. We had so many inside jokes. I have many good memories of Corri.
